The Ritz-Carlton — Grace Kelly Suite, Cannes + Bal Harbour
Role: Creative Strategist & Visual Director
Sector: Luxury Hospitality
Dates: 2020 (Cannes) • 2022 (Bal Harbour)

Project Overview
Conceived and directed bespoke visual narratives for two Ritz-Carlton properties, developed independently to align with the brand’s elevated tone and timeless appeal. In Cannes, I created a cinematic visual series centered around the Grace Kelly Suite — a nod to the hotel’s legacy and allure. In Bal Harbour, I produced a curated set of lifestyle visuals highlighting the property’s calm sophistication and beachfront refinement. Each project was approached with strategic intent, reflecting my commitment to design-forward storytelling in luxury hospitality.
Brand Challenge
Create elevated visual storytelling for two Ritz-Carlton properties, each with its own distinct identity and sense of place. In Cannes, the focus was on capturing the cinematic elegance of the Grace Kelly Suite and the hotel’s historic charm. In Bal Harbour, the creative highlighted serene, oceanfront luxury through polished lifestyle visuals. Each project was an opportunity to reflect the brand’s global prestige while honoring the unique character of each destination.
Creative Approach
Each location called for its own visual language. In Cannes, I developed a cinematic series that echoed the timeless glamour of the Riviera, using the Grace Kelly Suite as an anchor for storytelling. The imagery emphasized elegance, intimacy, and old-world charm, tailored for aspirational editorial placement. For Bal Harbour, the creative leaned into calm sophistication — capturing curated moments of light, space, and refined detail meant to resonate across digital platforms. All visuals were produced under my direction to ensure brand harmony and a luxury-forward aesthetic.
Results
These tailored visual narratives generated strong organic engagement and positive sentiment across social platforms. For the Cannes suite, I created a multi-part story highlighting the hotel’s cinematic heritage, with reels, stills, and written material timed to the Cannes Film Festival. In Bal Harbour, the visuals emphasized the hotel’s serene luxury and wellness offerings, prompting reposts by the Ritz-Carlton team and ongoing engagement from their community.
Together, these projects helped deepen my creative relationship with the brand—reinforcing trust in my ability to translate high-end hospitality into elevated, destination-specific storytelling.
Reflection
Luxury hospitality isn’t just about visuals—it’s about capturing a feeling. With each of these Ritz-Carlton properties, I approached the creative through the lens of narrative and emotion: honoring the legacy of Cannes through timeless elegance, and spotlighting Bal Harbour’s understated luxury with a more grounded, wellness-infused perspective. I set out to translate the essence of each location into imagery that invited curiosity, conveyed trust, and reflected the brand’s global prestige—while staying true to my own aesthetic and storytelling standards.
