Project Overview

 

As a retained consultant from 2023–2024, I partnered with Finer Recruiting to elevate their digital brand identity and strengthen positioning in a highly competitive B2B space. The firm specializes in placing C-suite and senior-level talent across industries, with a focus on discretion, high-touch client service, and long-term placement success.

 

I was brought in to develop a cohesive brand experience that would align with their premium services — refining the visual narrative, shaping digital communication, and ensuring that their leadership presence online reflected the caliber of the roles they filled. The project touched every element of brand storytelling: from wardrobe styling and brand photography to UX planning and executive-facing web design.

Brand Challenge

 

Finer Recruiting was in its early growth stage, with a self-built website and minimal brand structure. While their vision was clear — to offer high-touch, executive-level recruiting — their digital presence didn’t reflect that level of sophistication. The brand lacked cohesion, polish, and a visual identity aligned with their mission or client tier.

 

In an industry built on trust, discretion, and first impressions, the team understood that elevating their brand would be essential to landing competitive accounts and building long-term credibility. I was brought in to realign their visual and strategic presence with the kind of executive talent they aimed to represent.

Creative Approach

 

I worked closely with the founder to translate their business model and goals into a professional brand identity, web presence, and messaging strategy. This included defining service categories, writing clear and confident copy, and developing a visual system that conveyed industry credibility from the start.

 

Beyond the website itself, I shaped the brand’s tone, structure, and UX choices to align with client expectations in the recruiting space. Every detail — from layout to language — was crafted to establish trust, clarity, and long-term growth potential.

 

I also led a full brand shoot, collaborating with a professional photographer to produce a custom image library for press, LinkedIn, and future marketing needs. I selected wardrobe pieces to match the color palette and visual identity we developed, ensuring consistency across every touchpoint. The result was a polished, strategic presentation that gave the founder tools to launch with confidence — and maintain brand integrity as they scaled.

Results

 

The final website launched with a clean, professional design that gave the company immediate credibility in a competitive B2B space. The new brand identity elevated their services and positioned them as a serious player from day one — something their original DIY site couldn’t achieve.

 

The founder was able to confidently pitch clients and secure early partnerships using the visuals, language, and brand assets we created. Internally, the clear service structure and messaging helped streamline client onboarding and reinforce the company’s value proposition.

 

By delivering a cohesive visual identity, strong copy, and custom media assets, I provided a brand foundation that could evolve with the business — setting the tone for growth, visibility, and long-term retention.

Reflection

 

This project reminded me how essential brand clarity is when a company is just stepping into the market. I was brought in to build not just a visual identity, but a full foundation — from defining service categories and messaging to directing photography and designing the full digital experience.

 

What made it meaningful was the trust I was given to shape how the brand would be seen, understood, and remembered. I love stepping into that role — where strategy and creative meet — to help a business show up with confidence and intention from day one.
