BeautyStat | Multi-Year Creative Collaboration

Project Overview

 

I collaborated with BeautyStat on three product-focused initiatives: creating branded content for the Peptide Wrinkle-Relaxing Moisturizer, supporting retail storytelling for the Universal C Skin Refiner at Ulta Beauty, and producing a visual concept for the Dirt Peel Challenge. My contributions included creative direction, scripting, and on-camera delivery. I oversaw shoot execution with professional crews, ensuring the final assets aligned with BeautyStat’s tone, visual identity, and multi-platform needs.

Brand Challenge

 

The challenge was to create distinct visual narratives for three product-centered campaigns — each with different goals, audiences, and platform priorities. I was tasked with delivering versatile, polished assets that could support both retail moments and social engagement, while maintaining alignment with BeautyStat’s science-backed positioning. Across all deliverables, I aimed to translate technical formulas into warm, accessible storytelling with a clean, luxury feel.

Creative Approach

 

Each campaign was developed with a distinct creative lens while maintaining BeautyStat’s brand cohesion. For the Ulta Beauty partnership, I focused on energizing in-store traffic during the one-day Beauty Steal—crafting visual content that felt timely, inviting, and event-driven. For the Peptide Wrinkle-Relaxing Moisturizer, I translated scientific positioning into accessible visuals, highlighting texture and hero ingredients in a way that resonated across social channels. The Dirt Peel Challenge unfolded as a 7-day user journey, blending personal commentary with daily content to showcase the product’s transformative feel. I led concepting, styling, production, and direction across all three campaigns to ensure clarity, brand alignment, and polished execution.

Results

 

The campaigns expanded BeautyStat’s storytelling across retail and digital platforms—supporting visibility for new product launches, special events, and hero formulas. Each concept was tailored to the brand’s goals, timelines, and audience, resulting in polished assets that delivered both performance and cohesion. My creative direction helped shape content that stood out in a competitive category, reinforcing BeautyStat’s science-first positioning with clarity, warmth, and elevated visuals.

Reflection

 

There’s a distinct challenge in making science feel sensorial — especially in a crowded beauty landscape. With each of these campaigns, I approached the work as a strategist and creative lead, shaping how the product would be felt before it was ever tried. Whether highlighting texture and formulation or documenting real-time results during the Dirt Peel Challenge, my goal was always the same: spark trust, curiosity, and action — all while staying rooted in the brand’s voice.
