Project Overview

 

I was brought in to refine Bellava MedAesthetics’ brand presence and content strategy at a time when the practice was evolving its services and online visibility. As a luxury medspa known for its surgical partnerships and advanced cosmetic procedures, Bellava needed clear, elegant messaging and a more cohesive visual identity to match the quality of care provided by its team.

 

Working closely with Dr. Donna D’Alessio (founder and lead physician), Dr. Chang Soo Kim (plastic surgeon), and the in-house team, I developed a series of tailored campaigns and marketing tools that brought clarity to their service offerings. From producing on-site Q&A video content to creating branded digital assets and optimizing visual storytelling, my role focused on elevating both the perception and usability of the brand across web, email, and social media platforms. Every touchpoint was designed to build trust and convert interest into bookings — particularly for high-value treatments that were previously underpromoted.

Brand Challenge

 

Despite offering a wide range of advanced aesthetic treatments — including procedures led by a board-certified vein specialist and an in-house plastic surgeon — I found that Bellava’s digital presence didn’t reflect the caliber or breadth of its services. They had strong medical expertise, but lacked a cohesive marketing strategy and visual identity to support long-term growth and patient trust.

 

Many of their most transformative services, like vein treatments and combination procedures, were underpromoted or misunderstood. The clinic’s visual content was inconsistent, and key differentiators — such as their integrated care model and luxury positioning — weren’t being communicated online or in person.

 

My challenge was to elevate Bellava’s brand from a general medspa to a recognized destination for high-end, physician-led aesthetic care.

Creative Approach

 

This project helped reposition Bellava as a trusted, physician-led destination in the competitive aesthetic space. By elevating their visual identity, creating a deeper content library, and refining their overall tone, I saw immediate improvement in how the brand resonated — both online and in person.

 

My updates allowed Bellava to spotlight key differentiators, like in-house vein treatments, their partnership with Dr. Kim for plastic surgery, and the medical team’s direct involvement in every service. The video content I developed with Dr. D’Alessio and Dr. Kim saw strong engagement across digital channels, and the full library of visuals became the foundation for future marketing efforts.

 

By clarifying their voice and presence, I helped make it easier for patients to trust the expertise behind the brand — supporting long-term growth and keeping the practice competitive in a saturated market.

Reflection

 

This project allowed me to bring together visual strategy, medical marketing, and brand positioning — all in service of a highly discerning audience. I wasn’t just building a brand that looked elevated — I was creating strategic clarity and trust around procedures that are often misunderstood or overlooked, particularly in the vein and post-surgical space.

 

Working with both the founder, Dr. Donna D’Alessio, and the broader physician team gave me insight into how patient concerns vary across services. From laser treatments to surgical consultations, each needed a different marketing approach — and a consistent visual system to support it. I’m proud of how we reimagined Bellava as a destination for care that’s both luxurious and deeply informed.
