The more I study Yoga, the more I see that there are many ways to approach an asana: posture.
There is a common and persistent misconception that there is only one “correct” way to practice any yoga posture. Several variations of each pose allow you to create that same shape, enabling everyone to find a variation of a pose that works for their unique body and accommodates any injuries or conditions they may be experiencing. Natarajasana, or Dancer Pose, is challenging, at least for me, a balance pose and a backbend that strengthens my standing leg while stretching my chest, the front of my hips, and my abdomen.
